I work with individuals, couples and families experiencing a range of challenges that include relationship distress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, adolescent-parent relationships, difficulty in communication, life transitions, financial conflict, and/or coping with the disease of addiction in a significant relationship. We all come from diverse backgrounds and experiences that impact how we see and move through the world. I am interested in understanding the context of your life in our work together.
My practice is informed by my education and clinical training in couples and family therapy and my experience with youth and families in our community for the last 15 years. I have completed both the level 1 and 2 trainings in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I utilize this model when working to support couples in repairing and improving their relationships.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I am also an approved Clinical Supervisor by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. I enjoy supervising graduate student interns and graduates working towards their license in marriage and family therapy (LMFT) and professional counseling (LPC).
